Comparison Guide · Updated June 2026

The best girls hostels in Chandigarh,
compared.

A working parent's comparison of the credible girls hostels in the Tricity, with fees, audiences, trade-offs, and the honest answer to "which is right for my daughter?" Written by Super In Tech for DAV-15.

TL;DR

Seven credible girls hostels in the Chandigarh-Mohali area for school-age daughters (Class 6–12). They span coaching-led, full boarding, day-school-plus-hostel, ICSE, and international curriculum models. Annual fees range from ₹1.85 lakh to ₹5+ lakh. The right choice depends on age, target boards/exams, cultural fit, and budget.

How to read this guide

Most "best girls hostel in Chandigarh" lists rank institutions by reputation or by how recently the list was updated. Neither is useful for an individual family. The right girls hostel for your daughter depends on four things: her current class (younger daughters need different setups than Class 11–12), the target exam pipeline (NEET/JEE vs general college admission vs overseas), the cultural register your family prefers, and the budget tier.

We have not tried to rank these seven. Instead, each listing below tells you what the institution is, what it costs, who it serves best, and what the trade-off is. The institution we run is at the top because we are writing this guide; the others are listed alphabetically below.
